Same name but now a rosè of Grenache.
Crunchy, tart, refreshing, highly drinkable, almost effervescent. It reminds me of a paloma - enough tequila to keep it interesting, grapefruit juice and squirt to keep me asking for more — 2 years ago

Lovely older Syrah fruit, plums mostly, also some pine notes, first commercial vintage of the Paloma Syrah (and only one labeled Milagro, a legal issue), medium-long finish, neutral oak, love it!! A tribute to the greatness of Barbara and Jim Richards!! — 8 years ago

Pale blush. Paloma on the nose. Hints of strawberries and honeysuckle with crisp, pleasant, key lime zest finish. ( smoked pork chops, local asparagus, sautéed mushrooms. The first rose’ on the lanai this season - Memorial Day weekend) — 3 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of dinner at Paloma in the 20th Arr. The 2022 “Gibraltar” pours a ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of fresh raspberry, red flowers, underbrush, and stony minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Fresh as a daisy, this was a charming, no fuss, biodynamic Grenache from Roussillon. Drink now through 2032. — a year ago
Crunchy and tasty and refreshing and all the things you would want on a summer Saturday in Sonoma.
It's a Paloma of wines - grapefruit and squirt with a touch of effervescence (served from C02 kegs) but enough tequila to keep it interesting — 2 years ago

Excellent CNdP with my ribs from Salt Grass Steakhouse. NYE ‘20. With Elissa, Dan, and Paloma. Perfectly aged. Long finish. — 6 years ago
Really enjoyed it on the rocks. Also recommended by friend to mix one part vodka with two parts silver tequila, grapefruit juice and club soda over ice for a refreshing take on a Paloma! — 7 years ago

Purchased a case on release, I believe this is a 75% Merlot/25% Cabernet Sauvignon blend from my recollection of what Barbara and Jim Richards once told me, medium-dark ruby/purple color, dark fruit seems mature, but the wine still shows deep, mountain fruit, structure, very good balance still, long, lingering finish, I still have a few more, it’s probably drinking as well as it ever will, miss the Richards a lot, such gracious, wonderful people!! — a day ago
