Forgot to take detailed notes, but this was nice. Not really any carbonic / natural / “new agey”notes, just a solid classically made gamay. Definitely has some structure, opened 4 hours before serving which was good. Didn’t sing on any one dimension of fruit / earth / acid / length / texture but was nice overall. — a year ago
Blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon & 19% Merlot, aged in new oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe berry fruits and floral and earthy spice notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry, cherry and blackberry with licorice, tobacco and toasty oak notes. Long rich finish on soft juicy tannins, drinking well and still has room to age. Tiny hint of reduction but beyond that it is super floral and with loads of cherry fruit. Iron, very mineral. Elemental stuff. Dusty and very very refined. Hit of licorice. Really alluring nose. Just stunning. These wines give nothing in their youth and then the blossom. Stunningly fresh and vibrant with still some tannic grip but wonderful balance and depth. Saps your palate and tales of over. This is truly on its way to being great. It’s long and saline and has floral echoes on the finish. Profound. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2012 pours a hazy garnet color with a translucent core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe mixed fruits: raspberry, pomegranate, strawberry, Bing cherry, licorice, horse blanket, forest floor and rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. This finish is long. A wild wine; literally and figuratively. Teeters on the edge of being too careless but it doesn’t cross over into the realm of gerbil cage. Drink now. — a year ago

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing cooked cherries, plums, black currants, coffee, light cedar, earth, herbs, spices, tobacco and chocolates.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This is a delicious Merlot from the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Soft, elegant, and very impressive.
Rich, complex and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.
This 6 year old Merlot will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Drinking it with the wine maker in the winery's cellar is always a special experience.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months.
