Comes out earthy and a touch funky, which fades with time open, leaving behind pure brambly berry fruit. Delicate, with good concentration and length. — 3 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The wine pours, a deep, ruby color with a dark but transparent core; medium viscosity, with very light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is youthful with notes of ripe red and some black fruits: raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, red flowers, licorice, warm, spices, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. To palate, better after 2030 and through 2045. — 4 months ago
