Dark rubi robe with no signs of its age. A very complex and profound nose of dark cherries, flowers, blackcurrant and anise. In the mouth its ethereal and elegant, ready and will last some time still. Excellent second wine Lafleur, the greatest Pomerol there is. — 6 months ago
A really fine Pomerol. Drinking beautifully. 2016Guest returned it for being “sharp and tangy.” Well, no. It’s just great. Classic rich red fruit with nice and sure pronounced acidity. Lovely. — a year ago

5.000 bottles produced from the two plots (one nxt to the church and the other in front of Lafleur Petrus).
Takes some coxing to open up on the nose. Fragrant and deep, nice body on the mouth. Strict and fine on the mouth covering a beautiful world that will be revealed with time.. 93+ — 6 months ago

Compared with Gazin. Quite gentle. Less earthy. Fruity. But robust is same. Good balanced to the last vintage tasted before. Ok to drink. Château Beychevelle 21 @, , 250716 — 3 months ago
The 2014 Trotanoy has a more complex bouquet than the 2014 Gazin, with more Pomerol DNA in the mix, iron-tinged red berry fruit, black truffle and cedar. Fine delineation and quintessentially Pomerol. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins and harmonious, soy-tinged black fruit with white pepper sprinkled over the finish. This has personality and class but needs time (comme d'habitude). One of the standouts in what is an inconsistent Pomerol vintage. Tasted blind at the Southwold 10-Year-On tasting. Dynamic and punchy with great fruit still. Quite four square compared to the more silky 75’s alongside with plum, violets and supple fruit. At the edges the fruit showing a touch of fatigue and a slight dryness in the long finish. Not as supple and elegant as the PÈtrus but vibrant and memorable. — 15 days ago
