Château La Nerthe

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2017

Bottle age turned this wine into a real beauty. The alcoholic heat which was initially present has mellowed down — 20 days ago

Les Granières de la Nerthe Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2019

Good! This is a big one - leather and heft but not smoky per se. Ink and plum. Great with steak. — 2 months ago

Les Cassagnes de La Nerthe Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages White Rhone Blend 2020

Also forgot to write notes at the time I was drinking this wine, but will say it was awesome. Drinking way more like a CDP than a CDR. — 9 months ago

Tasted just like the La Nerthe CDR I had recently - expect a lot more bang for the buck w/CDP — 19 days ago

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc White Rhone Blend 2022

Delectable Wine
9.2

Vivid spring blossom, yellow apple, cedar, ripe pear and lemon flesh present the 2022 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc. Medium- to full-bodied and kept in check by bright acidity, the 2022 is a sapid and expressive white Châteauneuf that can be enjoyed over the next four years. (Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, June 2024)

Really solid & over-delivers for $18. Love their CdP so tried this: immediately unfurled red & blue fruit compote mingled w/Garrigue, white pepper, licorice, menthol & earth. Lovely nose followed by generous palate, smooth & silky, balanced, gentle tannins yet structured. — 2 months ago

Prieuré de Montézargues Tavel Rosé Blend 2022

The description: Perfectly representative of this stunning terroir, this Tavel 2022 is an iron hand in a velvet glove! Indeed, the palate is characterized by the intensity of the fruit, with nice citrus notes and very fine tannins. The finish is long and creamy. The opinion: Accurate and a little sweeter than you typical French rose! But definitely buy again. — 9 months ago
