The description: Overlooking the mediterranean surrounded by olive and cypress tress, is the 20 hectare vineyard of L'Arnaude. Like most rosé from the Var IGP, L'Arnaude is soft and silky with a refreshing nature, just like a walk on the beach.
The opinion: quite tasteless with almost watery quality. Would not buy again even at this price. — 2 months ago
The description: This wine was crafted mainly from Grenache and Carignan grapes from several carefully selected terroirs in the Aude department, where the hot, dry, and extremely sunny climate allows for optimal ripening of the grapes.
With its pale pink colour, this wine is brilliant in aspect. It is extremely fruity and fragrant, with powerful aromas of strawberry, sour cherry and grenadine along with citrus notes (pink grapefruit). It is extremely fresh and easy-drinking, bold, round and long on the palate with flavours reminiscent of fruit drop candies, peach and redcurrant, finishing on a note of grapefruit.
The opinion: accurate and very good value for money …off to buy a case! — 3 months ago
The description: The colour is salmon, light pink rose. The aromas show fresh strawberries, cranberry and hints of white pepper. The palate is where the romance is. The texture is crisp almost crunchy, which brings out the fresh strawberry and red tree fruit characters. This wines truly refreshes the palate… and soul.
The opinion. Perfect for quaffing on the deck and great value. Definitely buying in a dozen for summer. — 23 days ago
great finesse and delicacy and a nice minerality. The palate is tight, refreshing with notes of strawberry and a crisp structure.
The opinion: accurate and not a bad drop. I don’t think a good year for Rose. Hmmm thought this might have improved with age but hasn’t, so think there is better out there. — 2 months ago
The description: From the Languedoc region, this 100% Cinsault rosé is classic, light, fruity and easy to drink. The mouth is very elegant and balanced, with tart notes, citrus, raspberries and red currant aromas.
The opinion: It’s a good drop great for summer afternoon drinking. Will buy again. — 2 months ago
The description: Dry summers day Rose presenting lifted persimmon and pear.
Light and engaging with hints of citrus and a creamy peach and apricot textured finish.
The opinion: Agree, very good and different. — 5 months ago
The description: Garnet red colour with sparkling cherry highlights. The nose is expressive, complex with dominant notes of red fruit that grows to the mouth. The palate is smooth, round with a good freshness. Supported by fine tannins and a velvety mouth with a lot of persistence and volume. A successful wine to enjoy without waiting.
The opinion: consistently awesome, great value for money. — a month ago
The Description: A youthful and vibrant bouquet of dark cherry and spiced plums are laced with dried herbs and a natural savoury complexity. As the wine touches the palate the textures from tannins and place are captured first with a firm youthful grip accentuated by acidity and freshness then a stony clay soil quality. Fruit flavours mirror the bouquet then spices from barrel and fruit. A firm dry wine with plenty of youthful textures, ripe fruits and a lengthy finish. Complexity is building yet, a wine that needs maturing time with best drinking likely from 2027 through 2037+.
The opinion: I loved the 2021, I love the 2022. It does have acidity at this stage in life, but still a beautiful wine. I put some bottles away to mature, however very good drinking now!
PS: I think there is a hole in my wine glass…it keeps emptying itself! — a month ago

The description: 'Freshness, Fruit and Richness, the promise of Lavantureux Petit Chablis''.
The Petit Chablis from Roland Lavantureux is like a Bourgogne blanc from Antoine Jobard or Jean-Marc Roulot—a delicious, meticulously crafted wine that offers a taste of the magic found in the domaine’s more exclusive wines, with all the refreshing minerality and stoniness that is the hallmark of cool-climate Chardonnay grown on limestone. A sketch by da Vinci isn’t the Mona Lisa, but it still comes from the master’s hand.
The opinion: complex and beautiful.
