Tasting very well right now. Needs to open up then you get a wonderful balance between the fruit and the tannins — 2 months ago
Bought from Perrine’s. Delicious! Light with lots of flavor. Needs time to aerate. — 3 months ago
I can’t get over this wine! The first word that comes to mind is luscious!! Ripe peaches and pear, smoke, pineapple, chamomile, tree bark and limestone. I need a case and now I can’t find it - should’ve bought more!!! — 4 months ago

Pairs well with potentially life/career altering decisions — 2 months ago
Beautiful glass filling nose with flowers and tar followed by dark bramble, smoke, leather and liquorice. Pretty chewy tannines and a long finish. Wine got very divergent notes and ratings on ct but I am liking this a lot. No blockbuster over extracted powerhouse but freshness and complexity. Very glad to have 5 more. — 3 months ago

2022 vintage. Via Coravin. Medium-heavy body. Well made and delicious yet nothing specifically and currently driving the bus during the field trip. Needed more back-end action but not evident on the finish. Seems like an hour or three in a decanter would do this some justice and completely change this constructed narrative. 02.26.25. — 2 months ago
Nice floral acidity. Very pleasant to drink right now — 4 months ago
Opened about 30 minutes prior to dinner but no decant. Served slightly chilled. The 2016 “Blanche” pours a deep straw color with medium viscosity. Developing with notes of ripe stone fruit, tropical fruit, nutmeg, white pepper, minerals and cotton candy. On the palate, the wine is dry with lower acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. This is a wine of impeccable texture to match the king crab legs with dinner. Drink now through 2031. — 4 months ago
Served with Fisherman’s Pasta - sablefish, mussels, saffron gnocchetti pasta, fennel, fresh baguette toast. Well stored Hermitage Blanc is a special experience and this bottle of 1999 “Le Méal” was no exception. Fascinating notes of clove, yellow flowers, apricot, marmalade, honeysuckle, and sunflower seed. Next to the Montrachet, the acid is perceived to be low and there’s an almost oily texture. Delicious. — 6 months ago
