Awesome acid and unexpected structure for a gamay. Lovely earth and tannin — 11 years ago
If there's to be only one Beaujolais that would be it-2011- amazing vintage showing particularly well now black cherry, blackberry, great minerality a ripe fruit lifted by a medium acidity — 11 years ago
A balanced citrus and berry — 12 years ago
Violets, red fruit, and jerky dominate the nose on this lovely Gamay from the Cru Beajolais village of Moulin-A-Vent. This wine has a real silky mouthfeel and some serious grip and acidity. #delicious — 12 years ago
Haven’t had a Rottier wine in a minute. Dusty nose. Some cherry. Cassis. A nice richness. Really mineral. Seems closed but will open type of nose. Palate is lively and pure with a classic expression of 14 with crackling juicy dark fruit but slathered with minerality and so so refined. Showing so well. Structure to burn but really a great MAV. — 7 years ago
We enjoyed this wine in a trad French restaurant in Lille — 8 years ago
Quite good, but you feel the strength from 2015. May be better after it sits a while. Certainly charming but a bit out of balance — 10 years ago
Reaffirming my love for biodynamic Cru Beaujolais. Brings back memories of the Swiss gamay I survived off of as a poor intern in Geneva — 10 years ago
In a slightly awkward spot. — 10 years ago
Really nice Gamay with rich fruit, nice tannins and a natural unfiltered texture. Light in alcohol but full in flavor. — 11 years ago
This is a smooth fruity wine. My new favorite... — 8 years ago
Big fruit, earth and acid...ready to let the rest of these sit for a while. — 8 years ago
A blend from several sites, this full robust Beaujolais, deep in color, shows aromas of ripe red fruits and spices. On the palate fresh cherry and strawberry with pepper spice and hints of floral. Rich fine tannins with lively acidity will enable this wine to gain benefit with some cellaring. Tasting Sample. — 10 years ago
This right here is some bomb Gamay. Funky nose with some restrained fruit and earthy undertones. A velvety palate with nice complexity. Plums, cherries, and white chocolate. There's dirty forest, licorice, and silky tannins. Gorgeous Old World minerality and a long, fruity finish. This might just inspire me to jump back into the other side of Burgundy. — 10 years ago
Very enjoyable — 10 years ago
Each bottle seems a bit different. Some are all peaches, some suffering reduction and tightness. But overall a delicious sip. — 11 years ago
Light, crisp, acidic- very refreshing. Great as a starter — 11 years ago
Warm fruit, earthy, irony. Sucking on a penny, — 12 years ago

This is awesome. Incredibly vivid and well defined nose. So deep, layered and refined. Deep cherry fruit, pink peppercorn, granite and so so round and refined. Pure. Beautiful with incredible focus. Black cherry hangs at the end as well. Smells like classed growth Bordeaux or 1er Cru burg. Truly classy. The palate is complex and elegant with the structure and refinement of classed growth Bordeaux and texture of seductive Volnay or Gevrey 1er Cru. There is no carbonic here thus the more classic descriptors and burg-Bordeaux metaphors. While young this is as impressive a young MAV as I’ve ever had . A 20+ year wine. Stunning. Amazingly complex, nuanced and refined. — 7 years ago
