The 15' cuvee of this wine is absolutely delicious and offers much complexity for the price. Ripe red fruit core with pleasant green, herbal, and smoky notes. I think my experience with previous vintages of this wine fell in the category of unpleasant Cab Franc, so this is a much welcome change. Beautiful tension between rusticity and freshness. Yum!

Peppery, lots of minerals, crisp and oddly refreshing. Full without overpowering. — a year ago
Seductive aromatics of ripe damson plums and black currants, with a floral accent (violets?) and some pencil shavings and green peppers. A touch of cloves, too. Quite uplifting and elegant. On the palate this shows nice tension between the great purity of fruit paired with juicy acidity and the firm tannins & earthy undertones. No greenness nor astringency so often found in Loire Cab Francs. A lovely wine. — 5 years ago
Green pepper nose. Round with balanced acidity and minerality. Tart red fruit. — 11 years ago
An unusually golden-hued Sancerre. Tons of steely minerality accents the delightfully acidic stone and citrus fruit. — 6 years ago
