A little tightly wound, great purity and almost dark profile with that black/blue fruit and bitter spice. Fresh and edgy acid, a textural red that deserves food to let it shine

Violets and blueberries. Outrageously good for the money

Eminently drinkable with a demure, thought provoking side. So incredibly versatile and straight delicious. Ripe and perfumed, I could drink this every day and be superbly content.

Beautiful wine! A Beaujolais peat moss style note with green tobacco leaf with purple flowers. Delicate mid palate with a clean acidy finish. Very nimble. Very fun wine.

Pure Cab Franc joy. This bottling never fails to impress me. High toned aromas of deep red fruits and florals. Smoky note of vine clippings burning in the vineyards in Saumur. Truly a wine of place.

Raspberries, sour cherries, black tea, violets, herbs, and funk. A very nice, balanced Cab Franc.

The 15' cuvee of this wine is absolutely delicious and offers much complexity for the price. Ripe red fruit core with pleasant green, herbal, and smoky notes. I think my experience with previous vintages of this wine fell in the category of unpleasant Cab Franc, so this is a much welcome change. Beautiful tension between rusticity and freshness. Yum!

From Kermit Lynch:
• 100% de-stemmed
• Fermentation in stainless steel tank for 8 to 10 days
• Light pumpovers during fermentation—meant to infuse the grapes not extract them
• Aged in stainless steel and wood tanks, on fine lees, without sulfur, for 3 to 4 months
• Communes: Chaintres de Varrains and Saumur
