it has high alcohol, but i feel cool nuance, because it has sharp acidiy and lifted aromas. Well balanced and enjoyable classic Syrah beauty. — 4 years ago

Pale gold color in glass. Yeasty notes up front that dissipate with bubbles, light citrus, soft green apple and wet stone on the nose. Palate is delightful, prominent salted lemon peel at the forefront, green apple, precisely balanced acidity and dosage. Sometimes there’s no substitute for quality #grandcruchampagne — 7 months ago
salinity, citrus (lemon) + buttery richness. — 4 years ago
This lovely glass of wine has transported me. With some Manchego, olives and bread at the Wine Bar at the San Francisco ferry depot. — 4 months ago
Medium ruby , violet ruby rim . Lively and freshly fruited , wild strawberry , red plum , spiced cherry . On the palate more of the spiced cherry , red plum and raspberry notes . Light herbal touch . Quite fresh acidity and slightly gritty tannins . Red cherry , herbal medium length finish . This is showing well but will probably age quite well over the next 5-8 years . Really good freshness with elegance and drive . — 5 months ago
Gigonda style, great wine — 8 months ago
Very dry and complex. Lots of oak with notes of forest fruit, vanilla, and smoke. Pairs well with red meat and spicy cheese. — 3 years ago
Probably held on to this a year too long but it showed well for the first night (mouse had set in by the following day). Citrus, white flowers, orange blossom. — 4 years ago
