If Barbaresco & Margaux had a baby… mostly Nebbiolo - very elegantly styled, regal bearing. No signs of age & fairly tightly wound still - bunch of dusty cherries mingled with spice, asphalt, herbaceousness and violets. Lovely perfumed nose leads to cherries & red fruit on palate, earth & soil but smooth - oh so smooth. Finish didn’t live up to the rest, but still thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Nose, I'm in love! If there was such a thing as a cherry with rose petal that was actually a rock and you could eat it without losing all your teeth or you're a Rock Biter, this is that wine!

Palate...cherry, cherry and did I mention cherry? Oh Nebbiolo how I love thee. Baking spice, anise, oh the palate is continually changing, I'm confused and over joyed, god damn life is complicated, or is it easy?

Paired this bottle with 4+ hour, slow/low grilled spare ribs and Brahms 7th Symphony, amazballs as my buddy would say!

Palate is sweet plum. Cherry. Delicious. Really sweet fruit. Chocolate. Good acidic balance
