Note, in 2019 hail cut yields by 40%, Deep Ruby with concentrated aromas of ripe dark fruits and spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, licorice and smoky herb notes. Fine tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Honey, quince, tropical florals on the nose. Ripe yellow apples and pears, with pits and skins on the palate. Very pretty; low acid but good minerals and a little spice on the palate but not enough to quite balance the opulence. — 4 years ago
