Decanted for a hour - Heitz is not my favorite but each time I try it it grows on me - I know Parker is not a fan but seriously for the money this is good - the 2010 is bold but needs air - the fruit is tasty but smell is a little weak - Parker one comment the elevated acidity is right on so give it air - so smiling a little but that is better than a frown

For the young age of this wine it is a great buy. Dark color and bold. On the palate you can taste a chocolate flavor. This is a great wine. — 10 years ago
Lovely, bold fruit flavour — 10 years ago
Bold wine. Earthy, tabbaco, smoke and spice. Good tannins and light acidity at end. — 5 years ago
A dense, dark ruby wine! Blackberries and hints of blueberries and vanilla on nose. Attack is bold dark fruit, rich with blackberries and black cherries. Vanilla and cocoa appear in mid. Finish is long with bitter dark fruit, vanilla and pepper. Full bodied. Medium tannins. Great wine enjoyed with friends! — 6 years ago
This drinks bold, can be paired with food or without. So damn good. Another bottle please. — 6 years ago

Faust 2012 was the second wine of the night and def the winner. I read some of the reviews and was concerned, but actually liked this bottle. For a 2012, I'll say at the start: bold and concentrated. The scent out of the glass was black cherry and spice. The entry is expansive and body possesses notes of cassis, dark chocolate and ripe berries. Id almost describe it as layered throughout a longer than expected finish. Well done at the $40 price point, hence the rating. Love to talk to Elizabeth who rated it 7.4. — 9 years ago
Jonathan picked this one out and I absolutely loved the spiciest. It's a nice, easy one to drink :) — 9 years ago

Fruity, bold, delicious. On the hot side, right where I like it. — 9 years ago
"Wow" was the initial nose and palate impression. The finish wasn't as strong as the first impression but nonetheless good bang for the buck at $185hkd (twice the California price... Yes, I need to move). — 9 years ago
