C'est chaleureux mais très très harmonieux — 5 months ago
Mmmm - delicious! Quite full bodied with a deep ruby red color. Enjoyed with red meat and all by itself. Flavors of blackberry, plum and dark cherry. — 6 months ago
A plum, vanilla and leather. High acidity, but, soft tannins. Very good tempranillo, from reliable producer. — 7 months ago
Poured into a decanter about an hour prior to service; no formal notes due to the setting. It has been a few years since I last enjoyed the 2015 and I am happy to report that it is now very much open for business. The fruit is on full display and the oak is much better integrated. The structure is still quite firm but I found everything to be in better balance than it was upon release. This is squarely and its drinking window and should remain that way through the remainder of this decade and likely, well beyond. Drink now through 2030+ — 9 months ago
Rich red and blue berries finishing with a slight tarry taste. 86% Tempranillo, 8% Garnacha and 6% Graciano. Matured in French Oak barrels for 14 months, 40% of the barrels were new and the rest were second use. From dry grown bush vines. Medium to full bodied. Dry cherries and spices. Solid. — 5 months ago
Smooth though a little heavy — 6 months ago
Cedar, fruit in the background, coconut?. Mature and delicious — 6 months ago
Cork went backwards into the bottle, but was intact. Lovely medium-red color, faint bricking on edge, dried red fruits, subtle American oak, very suave on the palate, yet still shows some tannic grip into the long, lingering finish, I’ve long adored these 1980s/early 1990s Pesquera “regular” Ribera del Duero tintos, which avoided the much more lavishly oaked Janus Riserva cuvée, and most amazingly, how long these $18-20 regular cuvées will age!! — 7 months ago

Dark fruit. Vanilla. Smooth with a spicy finish — 6 months ago
Notes of raspberry, flint, butter. Medium bodied, feel the sun and the acid, oak tannins, length, with blackberries and raspberries. I think this 2022 would have been in great in 2024. Love garnacha, but I feel I’d better drink it young, almost unoaked. — 6 months ago
Notes of raspberry and dark chocolate on the nose. Very well balanced taste not too dry or sweet, some minerals notes. Excellent. — 7 months ago
