Cranberry and dried herbs on the nose. Smoke, leather and. Spice. Plush, velvety finish. #dumol #moonmountaindistrict — 5 years ago
Very nice at the price point. Compares well to Campo Viejo — 6 years ago
In appearance, I would have called this Napa as it had a deep purple rim but once you smelled it, it was South African through and through. Though I’ve only had a limited experience with SA wines, I’ve normally gotten a unique smell, reminiscent of smoked rubber. A lot of potpourri to this too. Black fruits (blackberries, cassis) with an herbal and tannic/slightly chalky finish. Well made. — 6 years ago
Again, lip smacking cassis and brambly fruit, all integrated into an classically flavored and varietal correct CS. Gorgeous savory and herbal character, leather, tobacco, cedar and minerals. Pliant on all front, pure silk with a rustic kiss, I rarely find CS this drinkable 😄 — 6 years ago
Black currant, structure, electricity, tartness, energy. All the adjectives. — 8 years ago
LOVE. Loire might be my favourite French region.
Some green pepper on the nose. Dangerously drinkable. Food friendly. Went well with spiced ground beef and rice, but this red would be a good companion for red or white meat, Indian dishes, or on its own. — 5 years ago
Has an orangey hue. Oaky smell, tobacco, dusty, smells like grandmas basement during poker night. Taste is AGGRESSIVE. Literally tastes like a poker night. Super tannic. Oak. Ripe Plum, acidity makes it almost lemony at the end. Burn up front but no burn going down. — 6 years ago
Opened up great — 6 years ago
— 7 years ago

Another great cab from Di Costanzo. I get more mineral and less fruit in this one than the Farella. Almost like an Italian-style wine. — 4 years ago
