Unfortunately didnt show so well, off bottle i guess. Muted nose with some spicy fruit and cheese rind and leather, palate was quite dried out but still had a decent finish...better luck next time. 1981 vintage.

Mogen Rioja som fått ligga till sig på flaska i decennium. Doften är mäktig. Plommon, mörka bär, oliver och vanilj. Smaken har tydlig ålder och den initiala fatlagringen känns. Mogna plommon, svart te, dill, grön paprika, kakao, örter, anis. En fint avslut med antydan av tanin.

Light transparent garnet. Very earthy aromas of forest mushroom, mulched leaves, herbs and cola on the nose. The palette here offered little fruit but had good spice and tobacco notes and just a slight hint of tart plum. Very graceful on its medium long finish. Excellent value here.
