Naturalmente Bio Sicilia Grillo 2021

Delectable Wine
9.1

The 2021 Grillo seduces with its sweetly floral and green citrus tinged bouquet, as crushed rocks give way to honeysuckle and lemon custard. A core of sour lime and melon tones add contrast. The palate is left reeling with mouthwatering tension and a lingering minty herbal streak. $19.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2022) — 3 years ago

Domaine des Roches Neuves (Thierry Germain)

Saumur-Champigny Cabernet Franc

Getting ahead with some research off to Saumur/Loire Vallée, this little Saumur Champigny punches above it's weight, up there with mid level burgundy, climate change has done well for Cab Francs, Pinot Noir from Loire Vallée. Well structured, light but with a bit of depth, berries galore, bio organic too! — 9 months ago

U Bastio Riviera Ligure di Ponente Rossese 2021

Gotta open a Ligurian red with a bowl of fresh garden pesto pasta. Fresh red fruit, grapefruit rind, and crushed rocks. Fresh, zingy, pretty good flavor intensity, great acids. Summertime! — 4 months ago

Château Pontet-Canet

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

We visited there in the early summer of 2015 and now we got to try the fruits of their labor in the vineyard we witnessed at that time. A bio-dynamic vineyard with horse and plow 😁. Their wines are fantastic. This wine was richer in fruit and more expressive than perhaps characteristic for the Pauillac region. But the layers of earth infused flavors and the most subtle hint of ‘barnyard’ made it a sensation. Topped off with a grippy finish keeping the flavors lingering in your throat. www.spokenwines.com. — 2 years ago
