Surprisingly complex and nuanced. There is an undeniable floral component to this wine that is quite atypical for Zinfandel. Mineral-laced, spicy, elegant and simply delicious. Aside from a hint of blueberry jam this is in no way your typical Dry Creek Zinfandel. Weight and texture are beautiful. Loving the lavender and violets. 2011 Buena Vista Carneros Pinot Noir. U: Transparent tegelröd D: Fat, tobak. Jordgubb. Vanilj. Väldigt tydlig. Mkt god doft. S: Tuttifrutti, jordgubb. Fatig. Rikligt med syra som får saliven att flöda. Ändå inte alls störande, frukten bär upp ypperligt. Avslutas snyggt och stort med en mjuk smörkola/vaniljtouch. Detta var riktigt bra.
