Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

A delicious Napa Cabernet Sauvignon from the house of Far Niente. Fruit forward and spicy.

Full bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light herbs, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

Still young, but already enjoyable even by itself, and will continue to age nicely in the 10 years.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

Very good one of my favorite wines

Medium ruby with a nose of red fruits and vanilla. Maybe some dusty notes as well. Medium body with adequate fruit, acidity, and tannin structure for its frame. Reasonable finish as well. Picked this up for $50 and I’d say it it delivers an $85+ experience.

Medium bodied full flavored Cabernet. Great value.

Still needs more time to open but very good and a nice staple. Reliable.

Deep sultry can with delicate tannins. I get a little blackberry, dark cherry, oak and something herby. Love.

Solid QPR at $50 - nothing special, just good.

The fruit is very bright. This is a 2018. Age should soften it nicely.

Always a favorite cab of ours for around $50. As expected, the ‘18 tops the ‘17.
