Lanolin and stone fruit. Textural but not waxy nor floral. Superlative example of pecorino. — a year ago
Translucent ruby in the glass.
Woodsy spice on the nose.
Very satisfying and round on the palate.
More foresty notes with an emphasis on berries and the smell of the woods dominate the flavour. Really enjoying the flavor of this, but I'm unable to pinpoint specifics.
Haven't had montepulciano in quite some time and am very pleased. — 4 years ago

Liked this Italian blend with spicy ragu. — a year ago
This is a glowing, freshly brilliant Montepulciano thanks to its fermentation process in steel with a controlled with a maceration of up to 12 days. Additionally, the wine underwent thru naturally malolactic fermentation naturally and yet remained on the noble lees for 2 months. It produces a medium to full body, chalky tannins and not so grainy textured finish. Moreover Barba utilized organically grown grapes to this wine. An absolutely fantastic casual option with an incredibly price point. — a year ago
Good heavy bodied wine - delicious — 3 years ago
Smell is raspberry hibiscus, some alcohol, taste is jammy and clear, straight forward there with ending tannins and grass that have a final burst of raspberry malt with a red magenta color — 6 years ago
I would drink this all the time. Luscious, almost-but-not-quite sweet, slightly smoky. So good. — 7 years ago
