A shockingly clean and dry Riesling with subtle skittles-like aroma. Significantly more enjoyable on day 2 (a decanter not available to me). I am far from an expert on this stuff but I would imagine some more years under the belt might help this yield more? Acid for days but not aggressive. Just tightly wound. Wasn’t sure if this would be awesome based on initial first impression. But just a quick double decant brought it to life. Dust, chocolate, cassis, cola, fine grained tannins that are totally soft and approachable. 96+ — 5 years ago

Still too early to the party. Second time at this, still needs a few years. Oh has it changed in a year though. It’s massive. Deep nose of fruit, with silky tannins and deep black fruit on the palate. Olive and charcuterie. Round out this incredible expression of Syrah. Time will be kind but it’s limited — 5 years ago
