Very tamed for a young nebbiolo. Tannins still a little harsh but quite smooth drinking. Subtle red fruit with some spices. — 3 years ago
Very nice and smooth; an easy drink without much bite or even growl in it — a month ago
Perhaps the best barbera ever — 8 months ago
Ripe fruit, nice balance, great pizza wine — 3 years ago
Fresher & more floral vs the ‘17s & ‘18s.
Fresh dark sweet cherries, an uplifting, fresh floral note, just a hint of mossy undergrowth. Pure, light, juicy.
Juicy on the palate as well, mid weight, bright acidity, light & juicy tannins, crunchy red fruit. More balanced and less alc vs prior vintages.
Joyfully drinkable yet with quite some character & nice depth, too.
They really nailed it in 2019! What a delight! Need to stock up!! — 4 years ago

This is a full-bodied barolo with grippy tannins and good acidity. On the palette, effusive flavors of cherry and roasted strawberries with cloves and anise come through nicely, with underlying white pepper, leather and savory notes. The tannin and non-fruit flavors seem to dominate the finish. Overall, flavors may have mellowed a tiny bit compared to when I had this in 2023, but still tasty. I’m noticing the white pepper and savory notes more now, but that may be just due to more experience tasting nebbiolo. — 25 days ago
