Beautiful notes of honey, pear, golden apple with musky, mushroom notes. Very light style with notes of oxidation and an afterthought of carbonation. — 6 years ago
An all time fav, apple, light peach, spatlese sweetness. No petrol notes. — 7 years ago
Dont drink the last two bottles, note to self! Another zelig of whites, so much development to go but is drinking prettily now. Still young w much snappy apple-ness, encased in a yeasty & mineral pearl. Had w mussels in saki & parsley, & simply sauteed trout. Yum — 8 years ago
Quite simply a crowd pleaser. Notes of peaches, apple, nectarine. Nice acidity and balance. And a great QPR. Well done Charles Smith yet again. — 10 years ago
Apple flavors. Alcohol taste. Great champagne! Hejdå huset i Torekov:(... — 11 years ago
One of the best bottles of champagne I’ve ever had. Annual one for Valentine’s Day - 2 left from a case we bought years ago. Getting better each year. Has a bit of a caramel apple mixed with lemon curd thing developing now. Very fine bubbles. Just fantastic. — 2 years ago
Deep gold to amber color. Beautiful clearly defined nose of green apple, hint of almond powder marzipan and buttered toast. Medium body with high acidity. Leads to an ultra long finish with mouthwatering fresh acidity. Really awesome stuff. Out of Magnum. — 4 years ago
Tons of apple — 6 years ago
Dry floral funky so good — 7 years ago
Fantastic value. Green apple, citrus, pear. Great nose, great finish. — 11 years ago
Good price at warehouse so I snagged one for wiener schnitzel dinner w/ cateloupe, prosciutto, radicchio &fig salad. Opened to give it a lot of air. Cream soda dum dum, Fuji apple, hint of gasoline but not a lot. Goes onto a grapefruit/citrus thing and a nice cream soda finish. Mineral and wonderfully acidic. Need to find older bottles! — 4 years ago
Very grassy. Key lime pie, green apple, and a load of primary yeast flavor. This is beautifully balanced and I think it will benefit from some time in bottle. Disgorged 2019 — 5 years ago
New world Chablis emulation but with a little more ripe fruit character and butter notes. Butter mochi, ripe green apple, cooked apples. Really tart finish with duality if fruit character. 0 new oak usage in this wine, fermented in used oak barrels and battonage for a year. Not your typical Napa chardonnay by any means but elegant and pretty. Perfumed and pretty. — 7 years ago
Only Randall could imagine this unique combination. — 8 years ago
Light golden color, nose with cream and baking spices, fresh apple pie. Palate has gold apple, green melon, vanilla, little bit of oak spice. Little bit rich (partial malo) but not overwhelming. Medium acids. round finish. has potential many more years of maturation. #latour #grandcru #cortoncharlemagne — 9 years ago
Subtly perfumey and very easy to cash — 11 years ago
Not corked. Apricot. Melon skin. Yellow apple. A little oxidized but not in a bad way. — 12 years ago

It’s Miller time. Well…actually Billecart time. I like this more than I buy it. One of good cuvées easily found in 375ml.
The body creamy, layered, nice c02, bruised golden & green apple, ripe Bosc pear, pineapple flesh, tropical melons-mango driven, lime & lemon zest, cream soda, cream, white spice-ginger, bread, yeast, brioche, soft but grainy moist chalkiness, sea spray/fossils, slightly chard sourdough toast, wet/softened alluvial, limestone, wet river stone, notes of flintiness, yellow lilies, white orchids, fruit blossoms, jasmine, rainfall acidity, excellent balanced fruit & earth, tension, structure with a juicy two-minute polished finish that falls onto beautiful minerality.
BTW, home grown tomatoes with Companion Bakery wheat sourdough, lightly toasted w/ olive oil, burrata, Tondo balsamic (stunning), olive oil & fresh basil never gets old. — 2 years ago
