Italian red blend… pairs well with chicken Marsala — 5 months ago
Deep ruby in color; raspberries, bried herbs, and cherri3s on the nose; medium plus acidity; mild tannins; tastes like grilled plums, eucalyptus, and candied cherries with a long finish. — 9 months ago
2015: Outstanding Aglianico. Dominated by gobs of darker red fruit earlier on before picking up tertiary leather and graphite flavors. Rich and mouth coating and already drinking well, but clearly will get increasingly complex over time. $50 on Delectable. — 4 years ago
Sooo yummy. Darker on the nose, but light and sweet on the palate - like cucumbers or powdered sugar or melon. — 5 years ago
Great wine. Will definitely buy again — 5 years ago
Absolutely a knockout. Last had almost 2 years ago and the time has been good. Decanted 1.5 hours, still fairly primary - would be a delicious one to age more, but so it goes. Aromatically incredible. So deep on the palate with that perfect refreshing note on the finish. Excellent pairing with fennel rubbed roast chicken, mushrooms cooked in the chicken fat, and oven fries with a tarragon aioli. — 4 months ago
Dark fruit, earthy but lively and mineral. Great example but lacks the oomph to justify the steep price — 6 months ago
Antics Terra Collective Tasting. A dark, brooding pinot from a hot year in Willamette, full of bramble, dark blackberry, saline, blueberry pie filling. Super dry with big tannins. Unique and one of a kind. — 8 months ago
Light golden color, restrained nose of yellow fruit maybe even yellow kiwi. Rich and round, ripe yellow apples, some stone, decent acidity. Needs time for tertiary notes that seem like they’d be interesting. Maybe a bit low on acid, although the mineral and reductive note keep it pretty well balanced. — 2 years ago
Aroma of mango skin and passion fruit. Honeycomb and pine.
Medium to high acidity — it’s got a bite. Woke me up, even. Love the unctuous petrol-like afternote with a slight cheddar-ish kick. Botanicals on the undercurrent of pine and thyme. Thyme, this sings with thyme, unusually.
I like the dry quality of it, but I wish it had some texture or sweetness to balance the acidity. — 4 years ago
Very smooth. Little peppery. — 5 years ago
