Why don’t we all drink more Aligoté? Because they’re not all like this. A fun and very pretty wine. Initial aromas of honeysuckle and lemon zest. Continues to blossom with grassy and floral notes. Sharp acidity and fantastic structure. Fresh and alive though very, very young. Salinity and precision on the palate with green apples and moist stone. Not Chablis but not trying to be either. It’s own thing and rather nice. — 8 days ago
