Château Pichon-Longueville Baron

Baron de Pichon-Longueville Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2003

Vintage be damned. Could it have more tannin, sure, but everything was in harmony and easy to enjoy. — 3 days ago

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2003

A nice comparison to the Baron though it fell short in complexity and ease to drink. — 3 days ago

Château Pichon-Longueville Baron

Les Tourelles de Longueville Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

After 10 years in the bottle, a decidedly savory second wine from this storied Second Growth château. Meaty, almost Northern Rhône character after uncorking. After a day in wine fridge the charcuterie notes ease a bit, blackberry, stewed cassis start to edge forward, classic #pauillac graphite and mineral notes that carry through on palate. Lovely tension on the palate and persistent fine tannins through the finish. — 8 days ago

Cave Caloz (Anne-Carole et Conrad Caloz)

La Mourziere Les Coteaux de Sierre Humagne 2020

I have FINALLY tried wine from the rare Humange Rouge grape, grown deep in the Swiss Alps, and it did not disappoint.

Black cherry and Cranberry to start before settling into a herbal and lightly mineral finish. The way it twists from one into the other is beautiful.
