On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with oak, herb spice and floral notes. Wine was complex and elegant with fine smooth tannins, long fruit and spicy finish. Boys weekend in Detroit.
A very lifted expression of burgundy. So much focus and separation on the mid palate. Waxy lemons define the texture on the palate, which then combine with white fruits. Superb length on the finish. Moderate acidity and delicate sweetness bring home a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Pop and pour. Well, wow, I should have bought more of this. On the nose: dense plum, strawberry, cinnamon, intense without being over the top. On the palate: tar, blackberry, charcoal, dense and dark fruited...so well-balanced, fantastic length and juiciness and the finely grained tannin sneaks up on the finish. — 5 years ago
