Lovely nose of ripe pear, honey, cake frosting. Pretty easy to sip - round, toasty, decent acidity, slight pleasant bitterness, fresh enough but age showing nicely. — 2 years ago

No bubbles but solid. Not dry — 8 years ago
This vintage quite a bit more high toned w Beaujolais like qualities. The red fruits are crunchy w earth and lots of acidity. With some time this will develop nicely. — 11 years ago
Very aromatic, with dried cranberries and spices. And an amazing finish that goes on and on. — 11 years ago
Scrumptious. — 12 years ago
Mature with red fruit and berries. Should improve over next few years — 10 months ago
Pop and pour. Well, wow, I should have bought more of this. On the nose: dense plum, strawberry, cinnamon, intense without being over the top. On the palate: tar, blackberry, charcoal, dense and dark fruited...so well-balanced, fantastic length and juiciness and the finely grained tannin sneaks up on the finish. — 5 years ago
Champagne Blanc de Noir, my faouvorite! — 7 years ago
2005 vintage on De 20, 2017 at Sun River, OR with skillet roasted lemon chicken (Ina Garten). Tasted alongside a 1999 Raptor Ridge Shea Vineyard to compare and contrast. Elegant and mature C-d-Pape at the peak of its life. Fully developed with a lot of great life left but also no need to wait to drink. This why we love C-d-Pape. Bought at K&L wine auction in 2017. — 9 years ago
Seen this wine have even more stella reviews than my 9.5... It's irrepressible length and intensity can't be ignored, but it's quite oxidative in its style and will no doubt find its doubters. None the less its darn impressive with fruit from Grand cru vineyards and was disgorged mid 2015 — 10 years ago
Pleasant surprise smooth with a slight pepper. Enjoying at Char Cut Calgary a suggestion of their sommelier Matt. Highly recommended. — 12 years ago
