A gift from my mother in law: under screw cap. The wine had a barely noticeable orange rim. Deep aromas of sweet roses, black cherry, orange rind, freshly turned earth, oolong tea; all this carried through on the palate, with the black cherry in the forefront. Good acidity and length, 13.5 abv. For the entry level Pinot aged under screw cap I am very impressed. I want to try the GG offerings now. — 2 months ago
Vintage 2016 | at 9 y old this wine rocks. Strawberries and mocca, caramel. Juicy taste. My winefriends recognised Spätburgunder Germany. Love this cuvée when it is in its prime. | second day with tenderloin on the grill, the wine is só frivolous — 3 months ago
