light floral/citrus nose. Balanced acidity with melon tangerine & slight minerality. Very refreshing. — 8 months ago
Zippy and dense body, yes. — 9 months ago
Love it! Juicy AF. Minerally. Good with spicy shakshouka. I'd keep a bottle of this on hand all the time. — 3 years ago
Light and fruity taste. A dryer but we’ll balanced white. — 4 years ago
My first white bottle selection wasn’t available so I chose this instead. Not a bad consolation prize: apple, white peach, citrus nose, medium body, engaging acidity backed by minerality. Great accompaniment to the table’s seafood and chicken entrées. — 7 months ago
Gold hue. Aromas and flavors of apple, apricot, bell pepper, lemon, and petrol, with a hint of grass and creamy notes. Medium body with medium-plus acidity. Silky and rounded mouthfeel. Complex bouquet. Elegant and balanced, with a lasting finish. — 2 years ago
Pear, minerals with a slight salty taste. Finish is a hint of vanilla creaminess. — 4 years ago
Solid Gavi! Minerality balancing melon and green fruit. Great Chardonnay alternative — 5 years ago
Liked this one. Dry, bright, goes nicely with seafood. — 6 years ago
Day-two magic. A fine white @Chris Buggy might enjoy. — 7 months ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of fresh stone fruits, citrus and floral notes, aged in stainless with plenty of lees contact. On the palate flavors of pear, apple and lemon citrus with lively acidity and blossom notes. Medium finish ending with citrus and creamy mineral character. Drink now while it’s still fresh! — 8 months ago
Crisp, lemon, burnt marshmallow and some minerality. — 3 years ago
Very sweet and easy to drink. — 3 years ago
Pdx wine import. Loved! Crisp and clean. — 4 years ago
Crisp, clean with mild acidity. The regular la scolca is really good, but this is better. — 6 years ago
The 2015 Barolo Gramolere is powerful and dense in the glass, with a good bit of richness but also less of the tension that is such a signature for wines from this site in Monforte. Cedar, sweet tobacco, pine, mint, dried cherry, licorice and dried flowers develop with air, adding attractive layers of complexity. Overall, the 2015 looks like it will drink well relatively early. Outstanding. Waxy, deep, and long. So much texture and stuffing. Hard to believe this doesn’t see any oak. Whispering sweet everythings to my palate. — 5 months ago
