A classical Tempranillo from Ribera. Elegant and a bit strict, 2014 from old vines seems still early to drink, could easily wait another couple of years. Staggering quality here for simple village AC Chablis. Super dense, juicy and tartly mineral. The wine is packed but coiled tight. Terrific midpalate opulence and terrific lime rock candy flavors. A beauty. Needs age or at least 2 hours of air. — 9 years ago

Interesting to have this a couple days after same vintage Beauroy. You can see the age much more on the AC bottling, though it wears it well as a complexity. I don't see this getting better, but I'm interested to see where it goes. — 9 years ago
