Domaine Bart
Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Quite good but for a few dollars more you can get one of their single vineyard bottles

Jan 27th, 2017Night one: fruitier than average, not particularly high acid, maybe blockish. Night two: sea change. Class and concentration above its class. Gorgeous black fruit, broad tannins, and earthy aromas/flavors speak of the Côte de Nuîts.

Nothing to complain about to be sure, but I'd rather pay 6-10 dollars more for one of the QPR-sweetheart Marsannays from Bart.

This bright, fun AC Bourgogne was very good with a steak and ratatouille sandwich. Even after many years in the wine business, tasting a bottled wine after having had it in barrel is still a thrill. These 14's are a good clean bunch!

Fragrant nose, light color, bright cherry flavor, good acidity, modest tannins. A good sipping wine.
