Fruit-forward, off-dry #lodi #chardonnay - good dose of tropical fruit, some honey, kind of interesting. — 4 years ago
A #zinfandel that’s much better balanced and elegant than previous examples from #lodi that I’ve tasted. No egregious fruit bomb here or excessive oak and smoke. @Tom Pilla is exactly right, dialed back fruitiness, some earthy zip and a touch of acid. — 4 years ago
I concur with @Byron C Mayes - good QPR #lodi #zinfandel here. The 2018 vintage looks to be even hotter than 2019 at 15% ABV. Airing it out and a day in the wine fridge helped. Heady blackberry pie filling nose, syrupy mouthfeel from that high alcohol, coffee and dark chocolate flavors mid-palate. There’s less of that expected Zin spice but enough acidity to keep things interesting. Definitely recommended for ~$9 at Total Wine if Zin is your thing. — 2 years ago
This #lodi #cabernetsauvignon was pretty interesting - it took me a lot of sips to decide how much I liked it. Jammy nose with raisiny aroma and initial taste, layers of pepper, some tobacco and chocolate. It was only missing tartness for balance and a touch over-extracted or this would be easy 9+ — 4 years ago

#lodi #zinfandel - blackberry jam, stewed plum aromas. Nicely concentrated in the mouth with the cooked dark fruit theme continuing, fair bit of acidity but more coffee, dark chocolate notes than I expected and very subtle spice. So many great old vine Zins out there in this price range - this one doesn’t stand out. #wsjwineclub — 3 years ago
I didn’t have high expectations for this value #lodi #zinfandel. Blackberry jam aromas dominate. In the mouth there’s the expected rich briar fruit flood but it’s quickly followed by nice acid structure, dark chocolate and coffee notes mid-palate, faint warming spices and tongue-coating tannins on the long finish. It is unexpectedly quaffable and a dandy value at $11 from #wsjwineclub — 3 years ago
Excellent #zinfandel from #lodi #california its less than 10 bucks in Costco...an effing steal — 5 years ago

My expectations were totally exceeded with this #lodi #cabernertsauvignon. Deep well of bramble fruit, some leather and subtle warm spices on the nose. Instead of a hot, jammy oaky mess, the palate features commendable restraint, bright acidity, structured black/blue fruit and peppery spice on the finish. How many Lodi Cabs do you see with 13.9% ABV? — a year ago
