I can never say too much about how wonderful Gruner is, and this one was fabulous. We served it with steak, alongside a chateauneuf du pape and a Barolo (!), and it held its own. This is the little wine that could. Delightful in every way. — 9 months ago
Good quite apricot and stone fruit driven. — 10 months ago
Pop and pour. Notes from 4 hrs open. Wow. On the nose: peach and apple with some wax and char sidenotes. On the palate: a suggestion of sweetness in the first hr is replaced by fantastic acidity, nettle, lemon and lime with time. Lovely density on the vibrant finish. — 4 years ago

Again, this is one of the wine world's great deals, even with the tarrifs, at 10.95. It's not super complex, but it's one of the most moreish wines. The zingy acid and fruity but pretty dry finish make this so great as a cocktail or dinner wine. The 2023 is superior to the slightly flabby '22. — 7 months ago

@Delectable Wine This is the Enderle & Moll Müller Thurgau Buntsandstein (not Muschelkalk). Beautiful skin fermented wine that is both floral and saline. Elegant and restrained. — 3 years ago
