This is the 2018 Wayne Gretzky Estate No. 99 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon. From the Niagra Peninsula VQA Winona, Ontario. This is a blend of 58% Shiraz, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Viognier.

On the nose there is black cherry, blackberry, black plum, lack currant, matchsticks, spice, black pepper and earth.

On the palate there is black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, black currant, smokey oak, spice, black pepper, pencil lead and earth.

This is a full bodied wine with a smooth mouthfeel medium to medium+ acidity and medium to medium + fine tannins that goes into a medium to long dark fruit pencil lead finish.
