The 2020 Gattinara is elegant and lifted. Crushed red berry fruit, cinnamon and orange peel grace this ethereal, nuanced Gattinara. Bright saline notes and sweet red-toned fruit build into the long, persistent finish. Understated and silky, the 2020 is exquisite. All this needs is a few years to soften. P: Nice bubbles, lots of peach fuzziness.
Quite refreshing, not too serious.
A nice find from the Veneto.

Very good. Pears and white flowers, good spicy acids, and an almond finish. Punches above it’s weight for sure. Not a super long finish but a well made wine. Refreshing as hell. I need to try the superiore. — 6 years ago
