Creamy-stewed red fruit, green olives and tobacco nose notes. Somewhat of an alc burn midway. Medium acidity, medium bodied, medium plus tannins. Obviously young and age worthy!

Intense Chianti Rufina, fruit notes: cherry, plum, dark berry. Vanilla, tannins very soft and very elegantly framed.

A very interesting dry muscat that has an extremely floral nose and palate. So much so I would drink it without food. But paired at Del Posto with Vitello tonnato (veal and tuna in a lemon basil & colatura vinaigrette) it totally changed!!! And was an amazing pairing! — 7 years ago
