Patience is a virtue. So tasty and textured. Firing all the senses. — 9 years ago
This wine is highly sensitive to temperature and opening times. Don't judge it unless you are near 66 degrees and open after an hour. Once there, you can expect explosive tannins with dark cherries, herbs, and cedar undertones that you can't stop drinking. Superb! So sensitive is the temperature that 10 degrees cooler made it taste like dilute watered wine; I wanted to toss it. Patience is a virtue and is well rewarded for those who can get temperature and opening time right. — 9 years ago
Much better in 2016 than 2014, patience IS a virtue. — 9 years ago
Very much in the mold of 08. Fairly reduced, but it does blow off. Crunchy just-underripe Boysenberries, loamy humus, and wet greens of the kind that might grow between the row. Nice villages the primary virtue of which is delicious drink ability, and the secondary is just typicity. It's so Burgundy. — 10 years ago

I'm in love. With this woman and this cidra — 11 years ago
I tried this wine alongside a bunch of very good Barolos. A tough crowd from which to differentiate one. But this wine managed to do so by virtue of its extraordinary freshness: like sniffing a jar of Italian herbs that have had a bunch of cherries thrown in for good measure. A very unusual Nebbiolo but a fascinating one for sure. I'm eager to try other vintages of this singular wine. — 8 years ago

A nice wine, but I didn't see the virtue of it for some reason. — 9 years ago
Citrus blossom and honeysuckle nose. Honeyed pineapple, tropical fruits and buttered toast on the palate. Rich, opulent and full bodied. Stunning texture, and I'm all about texture in these SQN white blends. Simple mouth-coating greatness. Endless finish. It might be heresy, but I love these SQN whites as much, if not more, than Manfred's reds. Patience is a virtue. They just keep getting better with time. Sadly, my last. Any sellers out there? — 9 years ago

Huge, Powerful, Inky black & blue, Blackberry fruit flavors, and lavender fragrant. Patience is a virtue, but not this time. Loved it to the last drop. — 10 years ago
Patience is a virtue when drinking this wine, as it takes longer than expected to open up. But once it did, wonderfully elegant. Extremely floral and herbaceous nose. Elegant and easy. Spicy at the end. Close your eyes and take your time with the finish, it's worth it. — 8 years ago
Surprisingly delicious and immediately made more sophisticated by virtue of the BB&R brand association. — 9 years ago
Captivating aromatic bouquet after time spent decanting. This is a by the book Brunello, featuring dried cherry, black cherry, blackberry, loads of cinnamon, vanilla, bitter chocolate, & tar. All are seamless, deep, & savory. Spice & fruit comes first, & last remarkably long. Opened young, of course, but patience isn't a virtue of mine. || Decanted 5 hours. — 9 years ago

Patience is a virtue, but this is drinking so well. In 3-5 years it's gonna knock your socks off! — 10 years ago
Patience is a virtue with this wine. Takes a while to open up. #arnotroberts — 10 years ago

This was one of our wedding wines. Rather nice to have a few bottles left over. This one was enjoyed on Cape Cod on July 4th. An accessible and definitively American wine. Rich, somewhat tropical but still elegant. It's gorgeous and made more so by virtue of the wonderful associated memories. — 7 years ago
