White flowers, strawberry, rhubarb, white peach. Medium bodied with structured acidity. Lovely on a hot day but has enough heft to pair well with salmon pasta. — 6 months ago
Great Mas de Daumas Gassac with age. Claud has the 2014 on the main list and the 2013 on the longer list. Same price! Great call to get the 2013. Nice, fresh, rich. Had with an assortment of seafood starters (red shrimp, hamachi) and with the ham with sunchokes and chicken liver agnoloti. — 10 months ago

2022 vintage. Any wine that smells like roses gets my attention. In this case the roses are intertwined with spices, and it is hard to find wines this cheap that smell so nice. A delicious, uncomplicated, spicy and fruity Negrette, with a little tannic bite that can be served slightly cold. Abv. 12,5%. This organic Fronton delivers lots of pleasure and character, and it sells for a song. — 4 months ago
It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Strong and fruity nose with ripe black fruits and chocolate notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing cooked cherries, plums, black currants, coffee, light cedar, earth, herbs, spices, tobacco and chocolates.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This is a delicious Merlot from the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Soft, elegant, and very impressive.
Rich, complex and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.
This 6 year old Merlot will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Drinking it with the wine maker in the winery's cellar is always a special experience.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

2018 vintage. Léoville-Poyferré-involved concern. 73% Malbec 18% Cabernet Sauvignon 5% Petit Verdot 3% Syrah 1% Cab Franc. 100% delicious. Medium/medium-heavy body. Nice balance of grip/zip and sleeko suave. Can hold its own in a street fight now or be the scheduled, 12-round, main event in 2040-your choice. $28.85 resto cost on 3 cases. 14.5% ABV. Definite big red blend value contender. 04.13.25. — 8 months ago
The QPR across the Daumas lineup has always astounded me, & this rose sparkling is no different: fine mouse & a clean, detailed palate, all fresh cut strawberries. Nice balance too between dry & fruitiness,& just enough heft to carry this past a toast into a first course. — 3 years ago
Выпью один и даже пару бутылок подряд. Очень крутое, кока кола, клубнтка, вишня, клюква. Крутейшее вино. — 5 years ago

So consistent, this "pillow" rose is light on its feet and finely elegant, though the flavors cut deep...that is the magic of these rose. — 6 months ago
