Concur with the WS review below, although I dropped my score one point and would add that the wine presently requires hours of natural aeration—no less than four in the bottle! We tested the use of a Vinturi, which produced unsatisfactory results. Perhaps decanting would take less time. Paired with pistachio crusted rack of lamb.
WS: 92. A fragrant and elegant red, delivering tuberose, strawberry, cherry and grassy aromas and flavors. Taut and balanced, with bright floral and red fruit notes gracing the lingering finish. Best from 2024 through 2038. 375 cases made, 150 cases imported. — 5 months ago
Great value! Would buy again. From LCBO — 2 years ago
Never heard of Tempranillo Blanco. Is that a grape? Golden, straw colored. Smells like Albariño or a French Rhone type white. Honey, sweet baked goods, sage, carrot seeds and oak. Flavors are strange and unfamiliar. Crisp, zesty, with a streak of tart green apple. Some honey, but not sweet at all. Just a hint of that CA chard stuff with the oak flavors. But it’s not really like any white I can place. Most resembles Rhone white blends. It’s a fun wine to try, and it’s nice. Complex and just a bit funky. — 5 years ago

The best wine from Spain ever! Peppery and expressive — 8 years ago
One of my favourite Italian whites - this is made from the Falanghina grape which is the main grape of Campania. Harvested at full ripeness. Fermentation takes place as 70% in stainless steel and 30% in Barrique. See previous note here in April 2025. Not designed for long cellaring. Previous notes still apply. An ideal winter white wine. White flowers, herbal notes with unctuous ripe fruits on the palate. Impossible not to enjoy this. Sadly my last bottle. — 5 months ago

Drinking in 2025. Incredible structure. Classic Rioja profile. Will continue to get better. Can’t wait to revisit in 6-8 years. Decant - some sediment already — 5 months ago
At La Gazzetta Italian restaurant for the second time. The first wine we tried here last time we didn’t like so we tried a different, more expensive one this time. Much better experience by spending a few more Euros…22.50€ on the wine list but the only charged us 18.50€ because we told them we didn’t like their 18.50€ wine. Nice gesture…one that will bring us back. — 3 years ago
Outstanding. Lime sorbet, solid minerality, lemon custard. — 7 years ago
This Vineyard is located on land confiscated from the Mafia.
A hint of blackberries and an aroma of black pepper. A touch of minerals with balanced acidity. Taste of blackberry and a hint of coconut.

€15.90 on the restaurant wine list. The wine list said it is a blend but the bottle only mentions Tempranillo. Pleasant enough to order again. Restaurant will be changing name/venue soon. Enjoyed our meals here overlooking the boardwalk & beach. — 3 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
100% Tempranillo, about 12 mos in mostly new French oak. Deep Ruby, aromas of dark fruits, spice, floral and earthy oak. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry & currants with tobacco, licorice and gentle bits of cedar. Tight tannins, supporting the backbone of the wine, could use more bottle age. Well balance with acidity, full body, long finish ends with some fruit, spice, and earthy character. Nice! — 4 months ago
