Delightful and unique sangiovese rose. Mild on the pallet with a finish I can't quite place — 6 years ago

More tannic than the 2012 vintage. Darker fruit profile too. 😍 these wines — 10 years ago
The "Funky Chicken"! Cab France from Muscadet country. Fun juice and it's funky! George Clinton would approve! @rxwinelab — 10 years ago

Strawberry fields of wheat dry crispness. — 10 years ago
Fresh-cut strawberries, kiwis, and watermelon on the nose. Bright with limeade, mellowing into cranberries and juicy strawberries, with hints of earthy funk and coconut aftertaste. #wineandpuppies — 10 years ago
Out of all the inexpensive loire roses this year, this pinot noir is probably my favorite. It offers all of that loire funkiness, minerallity and drive but backs it up with ample cherry fruit flavors. Don't think too hard about it... It goes down easy and will be gone before you know it. — 11 years ago
Da bere fresco, limpido, minerale, molto godibile. — 5 years ago
Slightly acidic, drinks like a rose.

From P&V:
Smells like ginger-lemon tea! Also shows some mandarin juice, dried mixed citrus peel and wet stone scents. Nice one. Chewy texture with talc-like tannins in a weave over juice, ginger-lemon tea flavours. Exceptional texture, length, vitality and structure. A serious white wine of great drinkability and detail. Friendly enough too. — 6 years ago
Should always be on ice. — 7 years ago
Takes some time open but is an excellent choice, well balanced — 8 years ago

Just fell apart over this.
Peach and wet stone on the front and the acidity flushes into caramel and grapefruit. A LOT happening for a reasonable summer bottle. Order by the case. — 10 years ago
When summer hits, it is time for Rosé to come out and play. Château Val Joanis is one of our favorites. Notes: color is a beautiful pale orange. The nose has berries and melon that develops as you taste it. Delicious! — 10 years ago

Earthy, spiced and delicately toasty oak influence. Plummy, liqurice, dark cherry and spicy/toasty oak influence. Firm youthfull tannins and fresh acidity supporting balnced structure. +15 years, 90p — 11 years ago
