Clear wine, deep purple in colour.

The nose is clean with s medium (+) aroma intensity. The nose has black fruit (plum, black current) herbal eucalyptus, cedar & a resinous quality from oak. Savour leather from age.

The palate is rich presenting a dry wine of medium (+) acid, alcohol & tannin (soft) but pronounced flavours of black fruit, oak and spice (clove). The finish is long and very pleasant.

V. Good wine, can drink now but could age a few more years too. — 7 years ago

I made a mistake by giving this a quick chill to get it to 60° or so, but this is better at room temperature. Continues to open up after taking on air.
