Yummy as it opened up over four hours. Good particularly for a seven year old Napa Pinot. Spring Mt. — 6 years ago
I usually tend toward Pinot Noir, but when I want something just a bit bolder, Gamay hits the spot. I have really been enjoying this 2015 vintage. — 7 years ago

Merry Christmas Eve-Eve!!! 🎄🎁🎅❄️🌟⛄️
Maybe, it’s the Christmas spirit and/or I really needed a good glass Rosé Champagne tonight but, I don’t recall this ever tasting better. Could simply be a better disgorgement? Ah, I’ll just say it’s Christmas Magic! Cheers! 🍾🥂
Shots around the house listening to our Christmas Eve Mix.
Yup, that’s my Wine Snowman! ⛄️
Be pairing this later with the Shari’s Chocolate Covered Strawberries that arrived today.

The 2012 Louis Roederer ‘Cristal’ Chanpagne is a thrilling, dense new offering from this historic house. On the nose this takes on rich brioche and baked Pazzaz apple flavors that combine with lighter kumquat and marzipan tones that all meld in the glass. Fresh and vibrant, with a remarkably silky mousse, the weight and richness of this wine is impressive, while the bright character provides a wonderful foil. Rich layers of lemon zest dusted brioche with toasted hazelnut and Gravenstein apple with lighter vanilla cream and starfruit tones seamlessly combine on the palate. As several hours develop, the wine pieces itself together more magically with the intense citrus components melding with its weighty stature. Marvelous at this stage in its development, the 2012 Louis Roederer ‘Cristal’ Chanpagne will have an exceedingly long life ahead of it. Try to give this at least another year of bottle development before savoring. Drink 2021-2040- 97 — 6 years ago

Tonight I had a taste for Champagne and I have opened the Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut. A blend of mainly Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and 10% to 20% Chardonnay.
On the nose there is musty pear, strawberry, bruised apple, lemon, toast and yeasty bread
On the palate there is creamy lemon curd, citrus notes, lemon, brioche, toast and limestone.
This wine is medium bodied with a creamy mouth feel. There is an abundant creamy mousse with medium + acidity that leads to a medium to long fresh finish. A nice ending to a long day doing chores around the house. Continue being safe and have a great rest of your weekend. Nostrovia! 🍾🍾🍾🍾 — 6 years ago

restaurant bottle so it was pnp unfortunately as i think this needed quite a bit of air and/or more time in the cellar. tightly wound, tart fruit, high-ish acid. i think a lot of these dry farmed bio pinots from this region just need some years to unwind and develop secondary flavors. i've got several pinots from Brick House cellaring that i'm not going sniff under 5 years. — 4 years ago
A very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Bone dry on the palate, and full bodied with medium acidity.
Needs time to open up properly.
Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.
Wine Advocate 92 points.
Spicy and tangy finish with firm tannins.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
