Delicious. So smooth. — 3 years ago
Surprisingly bright and tropical for a Cali chard. Lighter body and slightly mineraly. Very pleasant — 4 months ago
14.8% abv. Tasty. Dark thick fruits taste. Intense but pleasant. — 3 years ago
Enjoyed this while making dinner and prepping for Thanksgiving meal. Loved the smoothness and slight berry flavor. Adam also liked it saying “no bite, I like it.” LoL — 4 years ago
Okay, my natural bias on this wine is that it is generally over rated and over priced. Having said that, this vintage is very good. Reviews should be agnostic to price so I will do my best. This has an over abundance of black fruits jumping out of the glass. But it has enough acid to balance the fruit on the front and mid palette. The finish is shorter than you would like but overall balance between fruit, acid and tannins is very good. The bottom line is, if you asked me if I wanted you to open a ‘12 Caymus, I would say hell yes. Cheers! — 4 years ago
Bought as a half bottle to pair with homemade crab cakes, asparagus, and pan-fried chips. Lovely pale yellow color, fresh citrus and grass aroma and taste (with a hint of my favorite: green bell pepper) with a moderate alcohol sting on the back end. — a year ago

A lighter (14%) style. Bright Grenache fruit, lots of stony minerality. Pretty nice acids. Atypical but quite nice. — 3 months ago
