V15. Nicely balanced. Toasty nose. Buttery pear, Apple and soft honey kissed fruit. Creamy oak finish. — 9 years ago
Delightful. One of my favorites from Rockwall. It's just delicious — 9 years ago
The 2012 is still holding so damn tight. Definitely more approachable than a year ago but please full decant for 1.5 hours otherwise you are just wasting the best Chardonnay made in America. Everytime I open a bottle it reminds me of the excitement of losing my virginity...the anticipation is killer, but the actual event is magic! — 10 years ago
A nice respite from the renovating. — 10 years ago
Damn this is good! Seems meatier and mellower than the CDP, though i haven't had the same vintage side by side. — 10 years ago
Popped and poured, seemed a little flat. Let breathe in the glass and became too smoky. Second glass from recorked bottle was tight, dry, balanced- excellent. Hope it tastes as good tomorrow. 2012 vintage — 11 years ago
Fresh and well balanced. The best of the lineup IMHO. — 11 years ago
Pretty damn good. — 11 years ago
Rich berry fruit with layers of Christmas spices and tobacco. Pretty damn close to perfection! — 13 years ago
Inky purple with gritty tannins, spirited fresh silky fruit. A substantial brooding wine with miles and miles left in the tank but so damn good right now. The ‘08s and ‘09s from the North CA Coast that I felt were impenetrable fruit bombs the last few years are really blooming now. Drink up but decant. — 9 years ago

Always consistent. Figs. Eucalyptus. Mint. Just damn good. — 9 years ago
Good blend-heavier weight with the petite sir an being the predominant note. Lots of deep blue fruit and a medium finish. — 9 years ago
Stonefruit, pear and lychee. Needs to breathe a bit, but magnificent once it is ready. — 10 years ago
Damn near perfection from the 2001 vintage tonight. Hard to imagine how it could get better. — 10 years ago
"Do you have anything that says 'Dad likes leather'?" "You mean 'Leather Daddy'?"
Benchmark. Every damn year. — 11 years ago
Had this 2008 bottle with rack of lamb. Still pretty damn good. — 11 years ago

I completely forgot to post this. My brother from another mother Kirk Alexander uncorked these 2 Absolutely Phenomenal 100 point beauties for us to enjoy just because I came over!!!!!! ! Damn., I’ve got to go to his house more often!!!!!! All kidding aside., we were celebrating Veronica’s (his beautiful wife) birthday and what a truly special Evening.it was. There’s nothing better than uncorking a special bottle with friends that have become like family.
We love you Veronica!!! And put up with Kirk just because of you🤣😜🤣

Pretty damn good. Not salty or fresh but soooo much funk. We need that funk
Gotta have that funk — 10 years ago
Just, damn! — 11 years ago
Tondonia and paella. Yum. 2002 is no 2001, but it's still damn good and the consistency is pretty commendable — 11 years ago
Damn good...after abt 2 hrs in a decanter — 11 years ago
