Grapefruit, lemon curd, apple, peach, tangerine and lemongrass. Electric acidity and great minerality. — 4 years ago
Wine from Susie Pollen. Delicious would buy again — 4 years ago
Susie Selby crafts this Chardonnay from hillside vineyards, winery founded in 1993 by Susie and her late father, Dr. David Selby. Pale lemon with stone fruit, floral, cedar and citrus aromas, fermented in 100% French oak barrels, sur-lie aging. On the palate flavors of ripe apple, pear, citrus, vanilla and cedar notes. Medium+ finish, ending creamy with fruit, oak and slight biscuit notes. — 3 years ago
This is 39 yo. It has structure and acid. The fruit is gone. The finish is depleted. But it’s a welcome dinner companion. — 5 years ago
Cherry dusty red earth and some awesome vegetal lead to another outstanding arcangeli wine. The peitite Syrah is a great addition to add complexity on this — 4 years ago

Light ruby/garnet color. Red fruit aromas along with touches of baking spices, caramel and red flowers. Flavors of ripe/cooked red cherries and strawberries, caramel and those sweet baking spices. Well integrated oak notes on the long finish. Creamy and smooth texture and well balanced acidity. Thanks for sharing, John S. — a month ago
