No note on Delectable since May 2017 - 473 weeks ago. Smoked meat, Asian spices - an intoxicating nose. On the medium bodied palate - sweet red fruits with spices. Tim Kirk, the owner and winemaker said at the time it was the best Shiraz Viognier he had ever made for what is considered the benchmark for this blend in Australia. 98 points from HH and 18.5 points+ from Jancis. Very detailed as you would expect from Tim Kirk. — 2 months ago
Loved it! Green apple, pear, some leather, well balanced, clean finish. NZ did it again. Definitely would buy again — 3 months ago

Cool crisp juicy poundable! — 7 months ago
Home vineyard bottling. Dark and brooding on the nose. Classic Central. Dark fruit, savoury spice, earth. The palate has good weight and concentration of dark slightly sour cherry, and wood spice. Enough acid to provide the structure needed to hold the power together — a month ago

Wow. I liked this more than most. Hard alkaline open. Citrus. Dry. Then a little juicy fruit on the way out. — 2 months ago
Unmistakably Central Otago to my palate. Red plums and raspberries. 20% of the grapes were whole bunch. Also aged in 27% new oak. I must mention Neil Martin’s famous Quote, “ Whenever there is a tasting designed to challenge the supremacy of Burgundy, it is usually Felton Road that is ushered into the ring”. Very much on allocation these days and can be difficult to source. — 3 months ago
