Popped and poured. “Oh, hello friend!” This is what Sancerre is supposed to smell/taste like. Herbs and star fruit. Pyrazines are not prominent (long hang time has something to do with that). On the palate, the wine is dry and has simply wonderful acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and unbelievably chalky. This is a baby with a very bright life ahead. What a treat to get an early glimpse of the brilliance to come. Unfortunately, it’s getting harder and harder to find Sancerre like this. Drink now if you have multiples and you can appreciate the potential. Better after 2027. — 6 months ago

it has high alcohol, but i feel cool nuance, because it has sharp acidiy and lifted aromas. Well balanced and enjoyable classic Syrah beauty. — 3 years ago
Smell blackberry and plum, Taste raspberry, blackberry. Fruit forward. Dry mouth at the end.

Wow! Delicate bubbles let the chard and Pinot noir shine through. A bit of vanilla and bright lemon and brioche. Not too dry and a lovely bright mouth feel. Fantastic! — 5 months ago

Medium ruby to purple in color; plums, blackberries, and baking spices on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like blackberry jam, prunes, and graphite a long finish. — 7 months ago
Liked it but maybe a touch overpriced but might be splitting hairs there. I’ve def paid more for bottles I’ve hated. — 3 years ago

Cherry, plum, soil tones, leather. Gotta remember to pop these every so often because I bought so damn much of this wine and, as long-lived as these bottles are, they won’t last forever. Reliably delicious — 4 months ago
