Heady nose with strong balsamic notes, lush dark exotic fruit, dominant savory characteristics of roasted meat and oregano. Full, fragrant and with dense chewy tannins that convey a long life. Several teas from reaching its potential, but already expressive and delicious — 7 years ago

Nariz con rastro de fruta oscura, algo de "grama" y un toque de alcohol. En la boca "smooth" y a la vez algo tanico todavía. Puede aguantarse un poco mas en la botella. Tiene algo parecido a un toscano. ( Ballester) — 8 years ago
Good wine. Really enjoyed this one. — 6 years ago
WillaKenzie Estate is located in Oregon's Willamette Valley in the Chehalem Mountains. The winery was named after the Willakenzie soil on which the vineyards are planted to convey the influence that the soil imparts on the wine's flavors and aromas. Ruby red with aromas of red fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry with pepper spice. Well balanced with good acidity on lingering finish with a spicy earthy ending. Good value wine from OR. — 7 years ago
Moderately saturated medium red. Aromas of red berries and spices convey noteworthy soil complexity. Supple and dry on the palate, with redcurrant and spicy oak flavors leading to a suavely tannic finish. Distinctly saltier than the 2015 version. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2017) — 8 years ago
Acidic, earthy — 9 years ago
A Rhone blend of 75% Grenache and 25% of Carignan, Cinsault, Counoise and Clairette. Nicolas Renaud made a great job on this complex and extraordinary blend. The estate is organic certified, spontaneous fermentation in Vats. Nicolas uses a minimum amount of Sulfites and the wine is unfined and unfiltered. The color is a semi-intense ruby red, with orange nuances, gave to the fact that is a 2012. The nose is catchy and complex, with red fruits and liquorice bouquet. The palate reminds to the fruity nose, with soft and round tannins, that convey in a warm and lingering finish. Very recommended to all the lovers of Cotes du Rhone blend and not. — 9 years ago
Deep red color, "the nose and palate convey harmonious ripe blackberry and plum, underpinned by elegant smoke and vanilla notes" — 6 years ago
Luminous red. Aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry, cinnamon, vineyard peach, and pink flowers. A sweet explosion of floral red fruits and sweet spices follows through in the rich, suave mouth, firmed by a suggestion of orchard fruit pit. Penetrating and perfumed on the very sweet (240g/L r.s.) and very long finish. Remarkably well balanced (the extremely high but harmonious 9.8g/L total acidity allows this super-sweet to convey a very light on its feet quality), this wine from the beautiful but little-known island of Capraia off the Tuscan coast is an absolute knockout. Made from organically farmed grapes air-dried for 14 days. Will work equally well with a plum crumble or a chocolate cake. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, October 2017) — 7 years ago
Dark, youthful red. Classic, somewhat sauvagearomas of black raspberry, game and roast coffee, plus a hint of menthol. Utterly silky but energetic wine with superb concentration for this high-yielding vintage. Flavors of plum, dark berries, spices and menthol convey lovely subtle intensity and terrific definition. Really vibrates on the long, rising finish, with ripe tannins saturating the entire mouth. This wine still has a long life ahead of it; in fact, I'd hold it for a couple more years. Jean-Louis Trapet told me that 1999 was his tenth vintage and that at the time he was vinifying "with only a tiny bit of whole clusters." And he noted that it took until the following harvest for this wine to finish its malolactic fermentation. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, March 2018) — 7 years ago

(17/20) Красивый, пряный аромат с нотами сливы, душистого перца и лаврового листа. Высокая кислотность и интенсивные танины. Ежевика, чернослив и специи во вкусе. Мощное, интересное вино. #fenavin2017 — 8 years ago
Same purity and finesse as the Chianti Classico with more earth, spice, and leathery tobacco tones. Love that they can convey such weight out of the Sangioveto without covering the wine with new oak makeup. Superb. — 9 years ago

Para um vinho servido em pequenas garrafas descartáveis é uma grande surpresa. — 6 years ago
