Day one tannins were rough and wine needed a good hour to smooth out. Wine was still tight and didn't show very well. Day two wine still needs time to open. Full bodied, cherry,coffee, earthy palate. Nose is still hot but hint of violets lie under abrasive surface. Wine needs AT LEAST two more years
